We are getting close to cookie time in my house. We will be baking and packing up treats for approximately 2 weeks to be delivered to our family, friends and people who have otherwise touched our lives. We call these our "gratitude baskets". We started the tradition in 2006 and I can't imagine stopping. Cooking and baking fills me with love and happiness. Being able to share that with others by giving homemade gifts is more a present for me.
