Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits in 20 Minutes

You may have noticed a lack of seafood recipes on this site. Go ahead and search, you will not find one. As my 3 year old would say "I do not prefer it". Truth be told I prefer just about anything over seafood. Oddly though, Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants. If you have ever been there with me you know I can just about eat my body weight in Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I am not kidding either, I will eat a ton of biscuits and order a chicken salad.

Yes, a chicken salad at Red Lobster (its actually quite good but we are straying from the whole reason I went there to begin with). The salad is more of a side really. The main course is those biscuits. Oh my heavens I want to run to Red Lobster just thinking about them.

If you have ever been to Starbucks in the fall or winter I am sure you have at seen these spectacular treats, if not devoured one or twenty. Cranberry Bliss Bars are perfectly named they are pure dessert bliss packed into a little bar.

Munchkin and I had so much fun making these bars. My 3year old has been promoted to chief egg cracker. Over the summer we ate a lot of scrambled eggs and omelets so I would plop a dozen eggs on the counter and let her practice. We really don't eat out much, but when we do and we have something that we really enjoy, I love to create my own version at home. Last winter my sister-in-law and her kids came over for a visit while they were in town. We ended up getting dinner from Chipotle. Weening my daughter off her bottle seemed like a never ending battle. She actually drank out of a bottle until she was almost 2. I tried from the time she was about 14 months to get her to drink milk out of different sippy cups. I tried the soft ones, ones with tops like a nipple, different colors, different characters and different brands, I even tried the Avent sippy cup top on her bottle base. It seemed like it would never end. I kid you not we collected 20 sippy cups over that 10 months.
